Kristi Grall and Larry DeLuca co-presented a the IGNITE! presentations at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Annual Meeting.  IGNITE! is a similar format to the so-called "TED Talks" or "Pecha Kucha" talks, with a short time limit to speak on a topic - this time with slides that advance at a fixed rate.  No stress there!  The talks covered a wide range of presentation topics and a variety of styles, from racism in patient interactions to end-of-life discussions.  Happy Doc Summer Camp presenters Larry and Kristi talked about burnout and the ways in which Happy Doc's curriculum would address issues for providers.

It was quite a pleasant shock to find out that there was a contest associated with the event - and even moreso when Happy Doc won!
